Trading and investing carry substantial risk. Prediction markets, derivatives, and leveraged instruments carry more. Losses can exceed expectations, can happen quickly, and can be total. In some leveraged products, losses can exceed the amount you deposited.

Never commit money you cannot afford to lose entirely.

04Specific risks you are accepting

Leverage

Magnifies losses as well as gains, and can force liquidation at the worst possible moment.

Liquidity

A position may be impossible to exit at a sensible price, or at all. Prediction markets and thinly-traded instruments are particularly exposed.

Volatility and gaps

Prices can move sharply, and can gap through stop levels without trading at them.

Model risk

Every model is a simplification. Its assumptions can be wrong, can stop holding, or can be invalidated by a change in market structure. A model that worked can stop working without warning.

Data errors

Upstream data can be wrong, revised, delayed, or missing. Our output inherits any error in its inputs.

Latency

Information reaches you after the market has already moved. Nothing here should be treated as real-time or as tradeable at the price you see.

Execution risk

Slippage, partial fills, rejected orders, and fees change results. Your outcome will differ from any modelled outcome.

Third-party outages

Exchanges, brokers, data vendors, and infrastructure providers fail. So can this platform. Access may be unavailable exactly when you want it.

Regulatory and counterparty risk

Rules change, venues restrict access, and counterparties fail. Availability of an instrument where you live is your responsibility to establish.

05Past and simulated results guarantee nothing

Historical performance, backtests, simulations, paper trading, indicators, scores, forecasts, and signals do not guarantee or indicate future results.

Simulated results in particular have inherent limitations: they are prepared with hindsight, they do not involve financial risk, and they cannot fully account for liquidity, slippage, fees, or the effect of your own orders on the market. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve results similar to any figure shown.

06Independent assessment and compliance

You remain solely responsible for your own research, your own decisions, and their consequences. Verify anything you intend to rely on against your own sources.

You are responsible for complying with the laws, tax rules, and market restrictions that apply to you where you are. Some instruments discussed here are restricted or unavailable in some countries. We do not assess that for you.
